1. The Yankees win the ALDS

After a week-long battle of rain delays, off-days and a feisty Guardians team that had them on the brink — the Yankees win Game 5 easily to head back to the ALCS for the first time since 2019.

2. And Gleyber Torres had the taunt celebration of the year

3. And now the stage is set: Astros vs. Yankees ALCS

In 2017, the Astros won (more than controversially). In 2019, they won again (still with shenanigans likely). Now, the rematch.

Tonight at 7:37 ET.

4. The Phillies won Game 1 of the NLCS last night

If you missed it, the highlights:

And so, the Phillies take the first game on the road 2–0, with Game 2 this afternoon at 4:35 ET.

5. Celebrity guest Bill Walton was on hand, behind home plate

6. Today’s pitching matchup: Nola vs. Snell

If the Padres go down 0–2 and head east for three-straight games in front of a raucous Philly crowd — they might be done.

7. Scenes outside of Yankee Stadium last night

8. Yasiel Puig is having a great postseason

Just not in this league, country or continent.

The caption says: “Puig three-run #Kiwoom Heroes #Puig”

9. The stat of the day: Aaron Judge

10. And lastly, that 488-ft Schwarber home run once again

Because why not? (Bigger video size, too).
