The Phillies win a two-game sweep, ending the careers of Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina before a home crowd in St. Louis — and the team no one thought would go anywhere is now into the last eight.
And in each of their final at-bats, Pujols and Molina came through with massive base hits in the late innings — but to no avail, the rest of the team couldn’t come through.

Two teams that couldn’t score to save their life — culminating in Game 2 reaching the bottom of the fifteenth inning without a run scored.
